ARCHITECT/PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities and Essential Duties
• Lead the programming, planning, and design efforts as a primary point of contact with clients
• Construction document production
• Construction administration including leading and documenting project meetings
• Punch list generation and follow-through to project closeout
• Prepare presentation drawings and assist with marketing efforts
• Prepare project cost estimates and project schedules
• Contract development using AIA documents
• Review drawings for conformance to local, state, and federal building codes, as well as AIA guidelines
• Prepare/edit project narratives and specifications – proficiency using MasterSpec
• Proficiency using Revit BIM, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.•
• Provide project coordination between disciplines and outside consultants
• Responsibility for final review of contract documents
 
Requirements and Qualifications
• Registered architect, or working toward registration
• Ability to obtain reciprocity in other states and certifications relevant to our markets
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage a project team
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Professional attitude
• Thorough knowledge to assemble a complete set of bid documents
• Ability to make good, timely decisions
• Generate creative solutions with attention to detail
• Ability to design and manage multiple projects concurrently

Compensation

ARCHITECTURAL GRADUATE

Responsibilities
• Construction document production
• Strong working knowledge of Revit BIM, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
• Coordination with other disciplines and outside consultants
• Job site visitation and field verification
• Prepare/edit project narratives and specifications – working knowledge of MasterSpec
• Review drawings for conformance to local, state, and federal building codes, as well as AIA guidelines
• Shop drawing and submittal review
• Attend in-house design review meetings for ongoing projects
• Construction administration including documenting project meetings
• Punch list generation and follow-through to project closeout

Requirements and Qualifications
• Working toward architectural registration
• Willing to take direction
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Solution-focused design with attention to detail

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Responsibilities and Essential Duties
• Complete mechanical and HVAC systems design:
  • Compliance review to local, state, federal codes and guidelines
  • Heating/cooling load calculations
  • Equipment selection and layout
  • Ductwork and piping sizing and layout
  • Temperature controls sequence development
  • Specification writing
  • Energy audit capability
• Cost estimating
• Field survey and onsite coordination
• Construction documents production
• Responsibility for final review of contract documents
• Coordination with other disciplines
• Construction administration (leading and documenting project meetings)
• Project follow-through to project close-out (punch list generation)
• Prepare/edit project narratives and specifications (MasterSpec)
• Proficiency using Revit BIM, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications
• Professional engineer, or working toward registration
• Ability to obtain reciprocity in other states and certifications related to our markets
